Pursuant to the Court's Order of December 6, 1988, plaintiff Mary Huddle, who wishes this matter to proceed with the least possible delay, files this Statement to declare that she does not wish to "be dismissed from this case as a party plaintiff for failure to prosecute her action" (Order, pg 2), an hereby authorizes William Thomas to act as spokesperson for her at such further hearings as may be scheduled in this matter, as well as to submit pleadings on her behalf.
Thomas' authorization to speak extends only to the legal issues involved in this case. Plaintiff Mary Huddle would reserve the right to speak on her own behalf with regard to issues of personal principle. She will also personally answer any factual questions which the Court might deem relevent.
