Litigation Committee

Dear Committee:

On October 31, 1991 I submitted a docket statement to the Circuit Court for the District of Columbia in the matter of Huddle. et. al. v. Reagan et. al., Cr. No 88-3130. I would appreciate it if this Committee would consider undertaking my representation in that case.

Since August, 1981 I have been maintaining a continuous presence for Peace and Justice in Lafayette Park, across the street from the White House.

Throughout this period I have repeatedly been the target of police attacks which have resulted in injury to my person, property, and expressive activity.

To remedy this situation I sought relief from the D.C. Federal District Court through the case of Huddle v. Reagan. On May 24, 1991 Judge Joyce Hens Green, dismissed that action' holding that the plaintiffs had failed to state a claim

During pretrial proceedings Judge Green granted plaintiffs limited preliminary relief. Police harassment of and interference with my peaceful activities continues, I think that tile dismissal of this case was an error.

Enclosed are copies of the Orders of September 13, 1989, and October 12, 1990 which, I believe, reflect that combination. of fact exist which would entitle me to relief from the court, the dismissal Order. and plaintiffs, Motion for Reconsideration.

Sincerely,

/s/ Concepcion Picciotto
