UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT
FOR THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA

CONCEPCION PICCIOTTO, ELLEN
THOMAS, and WILLIAM THOMAS,
                    Plaintiffs,

           v. Civ.Action No. 99-21 13 (TPJ)

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,
BRUCE BABBITT, STAN E. LOCK, and
UNITED STATES PARK POLICE,
                    Defendants.

DEFENDANTS' UNOPPOSED MOTION FOR ENLARGEMENT

Defendants, through undersigned counsel, respectfully move this Court for a two-week enlargement of the time permitted to file their Reply to Plaintiffs Memorandum in Opposition to Defendants' Motion to Dismiss, which presently is due by September 3, 1999.

Defendants request an enlargement because the Assistant United States Attorney handling this matter, Eric Jaffe, is on vacation and will not be back in the office until September 13, 1999. When he returns to the office, Mr. Jaffe will need several days to prepare and file a Reply to plaintiff's Opposition.

Accordingly, defendants respectfully request an enlargement of two weeks, until September 17, 1999, to file their Reply. The parties have conferred pursuant to local Rule 108(m), and plaintiffs have indicated that they do not oppose defendants' request for enlargement.

A proposed order consistent with this Motion is attached hereto.

Respectfully submitted,
