NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

All but the south portion of Lafayette Park will be closed to the public and demonstrators use beginning Friday, January 5, at approximately 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. and again on Monday, January 8, at approximately 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. A map illustrating the closed area is identified on the reverse of this notice.

Persons demonstrating or otherwise using these park areas should remove themselves and any personal property from the closed area.

This action is necessary to provide security to the President and a visiting Head of State.
