NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
Various portion of Lafayette Park will be closed to the public from approximately 12 noon, Monday, March 5, 2001, through midnight, Thursday, May 18, 2001. A map illustrating the closed park areas is attached.
The park areas identified with fencing will be closed to the public to restore grassy panels throughout Lafayette Park. Persons demonstrating or otherwise using these sections of the park area should remove themselves and any personal property from the closed park areas by 12 noon, March 5, 2001. The National Park Service appreciates the public's cooperation in this matter.
