Lafayette Park will be closed to the public from 12:00 p.m. (noon) to 10:00 p.m. on January 19, 2005 and from 4:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on January 20, 2005. From 10:00 p.m. on January 19, 2005 until 4:00 a.m. on January 20, 2005 and after 9:00 a.m. on January 20, 2005, the northeast quadrant of Lafayette Park will be open to the general public. A map illustrating the northeast quadrant of the park area is attached.

The park area will be closed to the public to provide security and ensure public safety during the Inaugural fireworks and parade.

Persons demonstrating or otherwise using this park area should remove themselves and any personal property from the closed areas by noon, January 19, 2005.
