THE BIG LIE OF JUDAISM: The purpose of LAW is to establish order.
THE TRUTH IS: The purpose of LAW is to protect life.
THE BIG LIE OF ISLAM: TRUTH may be won through warfare, and LOVE can
be found through violence.
THE TRUTH IS: Only wisdom can overcome ignorance, and hate never
prevails against hate.
THE BIG LIE OF CHRISTIANITY: Jesus died to save us from our sins.
THE TRUTH IS:Jesus died for -- as a result of --our sins.
The sins of contentment and complacency fester within a
corrupt, non-sensical religious system which teaches that men can
be free simply because they are capable of clinging to ridiculous
and unfounded dogma. The greed of clergymen and their desire for
prestige may easily lead them to preach the most absurd lies. Lazy
people may readily allow themselves to be led to believe an
absurdity that they might somehow benefit from the life or death of
another person. How much more convenient to be free as a son of
Abraham than to have to win one's own freedom. How much easier to
let Jesus die for one's sins than to do something about one's own
sins.
Jesus wasn't content to accept convenient absurdities. He
fought for the freedom to speak the TRUTH. Because He fought YOUR
SINS of contentment, complacency, pride, and greed, people like you
nailed Him up.
Jesus never said, "If you believe that I died for your sins
you will be forgiven."
He did say, "If you do not forgive you cannot be forgiven."
Jesus never said, "Believe I died for you, and you will go to
Heaven."
He did say, "Love God, and your neighbor as yourself."
Religion tells lies, and States swear to the lies religion
tells. Lies are the stock in trade of priests; they can be used to
produce gold. States also find lies very useful, but can also
resort to force and brutality for turning a profit.
States rely on taxes to support the armies and bureaucrats of
which they are composed. Neither armies nor bureaucrats believe in
the God of Life. Instead they worship the god of death ...
Money/Power.
Because Jesus threatened the dread god Money/Power, the State
and the Church, who both owe their existence to the SINFUL
taxpayers and to tithers, hung Jesus up and laughed at Him in their
ignorance.
MAKE YOUR OWN LIE UP IF YOU WANT TO, BUT IT WON'T HELP YOU.
