In 1993, after Proposition One won its first voter initiative campaign in Washington DC, the Committee put out an announcement and general appeal for postage stamps on the Internet. Project Ploughshares of Canada responded with a grant which allowed the Committee to notify 11,000 peace, justice, and environmental activists around the country of the electoral success.
