Legaliaison Evolution
Carla and White Owl accused Thomas of giving the impression of "speaking for the Family," and urged the establishment of a National Legaliaison in Texas.
Thomas declared he had never made any representations on behalf of the Family, reminded them "everyone is Legaliaison," and that there never was any "Legaliaison National Office," nor should there be one.
Carla agreed that there was no "National Office," but was concerned that people might be starting to get an impression that there was. She and White Owl expressed great appreciation for all "the wonderful work" Thomas had done, but insisted that, according to process, to insure that no one person obtained too much "power," the Legaliaison Office should move to Texas.
Owing to Carla's familiarity with the mechanics of "tribal process," Carla and White Owl managed to realize their dream of establishing the first Rainbow "National Office," in Nacagdoches, East Texas.
After the Alabama council Thomas continued disseminating information and opinions about the regulations, but stopped putting "Legaliaison" on his correspondence.
