PRINCIPAL CHARACTER

"Stephen Principal" is a Rainbow moniker attached to a shadowy figure of mythic proportions. As one of what Stephen calls "new people," Thomas isn't privy to Stephen's origins.

It is rumored that S.P. hasn't been with the Family since the beginning, and that when he isn't at gatherings he works at manipulating information from a place called "Paranoid Central," which is rumored to be in East Texas, or maybe in Oklahoma, or maybe it's a place which the legendary man just carries with him. Only "old Family" know for sure.

Where or when this Principal figure came from probably isn't much more interesting than the legends he's spawned since arriving. Of course, the General vehemently denies many of the more unRainbow of these legends, on others he just pleads the 5th.

But then there are other legends on which Mr. Principal thrives. One of the General's favorite legends is that he worked wonderous wizardry in the court of Judge Justice. This legend seems to make a lot of folks think Stephen's some kinda legal genius.

It's theorized that the General is so fond of this tale because it somehow supposedly balances the unRainbow-like behavior alleged in those legends he likes to deny, or plead the 5th on.
