Given the Truth -- Thomas does not, and NEVER has received any salary, money, monetary considerations, food stamps, or other material assistance from the U.S., or ANY other, Government, religious or political organization, and Thomas does not solicit contributions -- we might begin to realize that Thomas is "indigent," and, therefore, $20.00 is a relatively large sum of
money to him.
In Thomas' perception of reality, "time" is "life," not "money."
Thus, because Thomas holds that Freedom of Thought, Expression and Assembly are of infinately greater value than dollars and cents, he happily prepared and mailed, postage pre-paid, a package of information material to Carla; cost, about $20, not including a couple of Thomas' precious hours.
