Curmudgen thinks there's a certain form of Flipping Out Logic which generates a particularly virulent communication problem.
In one case, responding to Snowwafer, Curmudgen suggested that people "begin to seriously question their own beliefs, and seriously open their minds to accommodate the concepts and lifestyle changes that are necessary if we are ever to get out of the deep sh!t we're in."
Curmudgen was mystified by the reply. Analogously, he thought, it was as if Snowwafer had written something like, "People can jump high on Mars, but not so high as on the Moon. Not only that, but I went to Disneyland. And the rain in Spain falls mainly in the plain."
Trying to be respectful, Curmudgen specifically listed several of Snowwafer's points which he didn't understand, and specifically ASKED,
