A PLAN?
The Citizen's for Peaceful
Energy Plan Support Resolution ("SR-CPEP") could
be a mechanism of democracy. It would permit any citizen to offer
written comments on any topic related to the goals of CNES. This
would form the basis for discussion, and the Internet would provide
the conduit.
If consensus can be reached on all points of the SR-CPEP
before the Second March for Peaceful Energy, it would give a solid
political basis of broad based public support ... which is the
only thing that might change the course of the fossil fuel juggernaut.
One might imagine that within a group which perceives itself
confronted by a mutually perceived threat of critical proportions,
reaching consensus on strategies and tactics to confront the threat
wouldn't be difficult. In reality, of course, such
a perception is naive
