Motion for Extension of Time
UNITED STATES COURT OF APPEALS
DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA CIRCUIT
No.95-5340
September Term, 1995
USDC No. 94cv02747
William Thomas, et al., Appellants
v.
United States of America, et al., Appellees
APPELLEES' MOTION FOR AN EXTENSION OF TIME
Appellees hereby respectfully move for an extension of time
of five business days, until October 23, 1996, within which to
file their motion governing further proceedings in this appeal
pursuant to the Order of the Court dated September 18, 1996.
Although appellees' motion is substantially prepared, this
additional time is necessary because, due to the press of other
business of appellees' counsel, counsel was unable to complete
appellees' motion by this date. Since the Court has not yet set a
schedule for briefing of this case, this short period of
additional time should not unduly disrupt the schedule of this
case.
Appellants have provided their consent to this motion.
1
WHEREFORE, appellees respectfully request that the time for
filing appellees motion governing further proceedings be extended
for five business days.
